siamo nel mezzo dell'inverno, ma presto finirà!
we are in the middle of winter, but it's gonna end soon!
on est au milieu de l'hiver, mais ça s'achevera bientot!
I'm back from three wonderful nights - the show with the FAC orchestra has been so powerful, heartful and happy that I don't mind if I heard less than half of the sounds produced !!! Grazie Roy!!! e sempre lodi a super Ortensia
then Bz Bz Ueu - we played in the worst place for us, the smallest bar on earth in Giovinazzo, but we did it and it's been sweaty, loud and good. I'm happy this band it's still around and kicking ass. watch out for LO FLOPPER, the new band by Pino, Adele and Edy!
and then the wonderful concert of The Tiptons in Meldola. Gionni and the guys are running the best place in the world, they are nice, kind, smiling, heartful and always ready to party! There was hundreds of people everyone wanted the Tiptons forever on stage, and they did it playing again after the show over the afrodance dj!!! what a night!
so what's new: Fred Casadei called me and we'll finaly found a way to play togheter again. it's gonna be with Drumbone and Bass, his new project with Tony Cattano on trombone and myself on drums. watch out because we're coming! more news soon
I'm finally (for me!) finishing the recordings of my bossa storta album, thanks to Edoardo Ricci, Stefano Bartolini, Francesco Donnini, Andrea Caprara, Francesco Masiani, Stefano Doretti, Cristina Abati and Silvia Ratti
a bad news is that Pin Pin Sugar split! no fights betwen us, but the road has come to an end.
but don't worry! Nicola Ratti is playing around to present his marvellous 10" One day with my fishing umbrella EP, and Chet is teaming up with me and Gi Gasparin in a new fantastic project called CARPETS (o Tappeti o Esploratori VERNA) first gig in Schio at Centro Stabile Cultura on March 12th. Come and come!
AssCult Press is promoting a big anthology: the first possibility to meet us live (along with dj Faccia di Merda, ça va sans dire) is gonna be on march 2nd in Arezzo @ Fromscratch. be there or be square (what the hell does it means? I never understood)
Cristina Abati has her solo show, you can see her in Pisa at Cantiere San Bernardo, via Pietro Gori, on march 3rd or 4th. Don't miss it! and sing a song to Pietro when you pass there!
